Ximena Soledad Schnurr, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who sees patients ages 5 and above. She provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, health screenings, and school and sports physicals. She treats a wide range of conditions, including cold and flu symptoms, upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, ear infections and bronchitis. She also treats chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, coronary artery disease and chronic or non-healing wounds. Dr. Schnurr focuses on maintaining the health of her patients through counseling and preventative screenings. She treats her patients with care, sensitivity, and dedication, respects their preferences and beliefs and encourages open communication for informed decision-making. Dr. Schnurr is originally from Cuenca, Ecuador, and lives in St. Peters, Missouri, where she raised her family. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her children and dogs, reading and cooking unique dishes from Ecuador. Dr. Schnurr earned her medical degree from the University of Cuenca Medical School in Cuenca, Ecuador. She completed her internship at Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital in Cuenca and her residency at Jose Carrasco Arteaga Hospital in Cuenca. She also completed a residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical School and UAMS Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
