Company description
Third Street Church is observing over 150 years at the same location. We recently reorganized as an independent church with our own Articles of Incorporation and governing by-laws. The original church building was destroyed by an arson fire and the existing building was rebuilt in 1993. Beautiful sanctuary,fellowship hall,kitchen, classrooms on basement floor , all handicapped accessible. We follow the Word of God ,the Bible, and observe Holy Communion first Sunday of the month. We are seeking new families, youth and children to grow in to disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission Statement: “To grow in faith,serve in love, reach out to all,and nurture disciples for the transformation of the world.” We, the people of Third Street Church, believe that inside each person is the holy treasure of God. Together, as part of the family of God, we are striving to find and share that treasure by surrendering ourselves to God’s will and the Christian ideals. As wounded children of God, we understand that we are imperfect and need to constantly open ourselves to God’s forgiveness,mercy,and healing as we seek reconciliation for ourselves and others. To this end, we will intentionally strive to be Christ-centered, spiritually driven, and relational as we witness for Christ by our example and seek opportunities to exercise faithful discipleship. We support local,national and world missions.
