Steven J. Radtke, M.D., FACOG, FMIGS, is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon at Norton Urogynecology Center. He earned his medical degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico, and completed his OB/GYN residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. Dr. Radtke completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, where he trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, specializing in complex pathology such as severe endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, large uterine fibroids, fertility surgery and mesh removal. He previously served as chief of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center, El Paso. He is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and has held multiple leadership positions in the organization. Dr. Radtke has received multiple awards throughout his career pertaining to patient care and research. He strongly believes in empowering patients to fully understand their symptoms and actively participate in creating a holistic treatment plan that aligns with their needs. He has special interests in a multimodal approach to chronic pelvic pain/endometriosis, and in creating methods to make surgery as painless as possible, and has published multiple research papers on this subject. In his spare time, Dr. Radtke and his wife enjoy collecting vintage vinyl records and listening to them. He also enjoys playing the piano, and has been playing for as long as he can remember.
