Dr. Renee Rolston is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). Dr. Rolston is dual fellowship trained. Prior to joining WCM, Dr. Rolston completed fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Southern California. She then became an Assistant Professor in Gynecology and Urology at Albert Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center. After being in practice for a few years Dr. Rolston then completed a second fellowship in Transgender Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Prior to her fellowship training Dr. Rolston completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Albert Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College after completing an accelerated combined seven-year B.S./M.D Program. Dr. Rolston's clinical and research interests include pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse, urinary incontinence, complex pelvic reconstructive surgery, and transgender surgery and care. Dr. Rolston has expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques which include vaginal, perineal, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches. Dr. Rolston is dedicated to alleviating health disparities within the urologic-gynecologic and transgender communities through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Dr. Rolston has presented her research in sexual dysfunction, painful bladder syndrome, and transgender surgery at a national level. She is also an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
