Company description

ORIGINS Founder Raquel Furtado’s fascination with food started early in life. A native of Pantanal in tropical Brazil, she familiarized herself with medicinal plants, herbs and super foods, many of which could be found in her backyard. Years later, after moving to New York, Raquel faced an illness and was forced to rethink wellness and nutrition entirely. She was curious to explore the powers of nature’s precious elements, and began creating recipes with ingredients that reminded her of home.
