He received his medical degree from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Be'erSheva, Israel, and completed General Surgery residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He completed a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery at L'Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, France and has been in General Surgery practice from 2012.
