Mathew Herbst is a board certified family medicine physician. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his master's degree in physical therapy and medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health-Madison. He completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine and Community Health-Baraboo and his fellowship at the Gray Institute in Adrian, MI. Herbst's practice is focused on management of musculoskeletal injuries with the goal of fast recovery, taking care of children and adolescents, management of obstetrical care providing low-risk prenatal care up to 32 week-no deliveries, postpartum care, and procedures such as colonoscopies, vasectomies, upper endoscopies, IUD and Nexplanon placement, cyst removal, and laceration repair. Herbst is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. In his free time, Dr. Herbst enjoys reading, camping, spending time with family, watching movies, woodworking, softball, rugby, watching sports, hiking, biking, coaching his children's activities/sports, fishing with friends, and other outdoor activities.
