Dr. Re is a Fellowship Trained Shoulder Surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder, Repairs and Revisions of Complex Rotator Cuff Tears, and Shoulder Replacement Surgery Dr. Re completed his residency in the Department of Orthopaedics, Yale University School of Medicine and completed the Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He has published several research projects involving shoulder and knee reconstructions. Besides surgery, in the office he offers various forms of injection treatments including viscosupplementation and PRP Stem Cell Injections He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is currently Clinical Instructor, Shoulder Reconstruction and Arthroscopy Lenox Hill Hospital. He has been voted teacher of the year twice and is currently continuing investigating the outcome of Graft Reconstruction for Massive Rotator Cuff Tears. As a tennis player and skier, Dr. Re has been a patient as well as caregiver, and he has a unique perspective because of this. Dr. Re is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine.
