Dr. Julie Choi is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at New York Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She works at our Bronxville satellite, the New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital Cancer Center, which she joined in 2019. She is board certified in Radiation Oncology with special interests in breast cancer, gynecologic cancers, lung cancer, CNS and radiosurgery. Dr. Choi was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and earned her combined BA/MD through the University of Missouri Kansas City’s accelerated six year medical program. She became board certified in Internal Medicine before realizing her passion for Oncology patient care, leading her to transition to Radiation Oncology. She completed her radiation oncology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center Campus, where she served as Chief Resident. She stayed on staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital /Columbia University Medical Center for 5 years before transferring to a community setting. She has been practicing for the past 15 years in the Westchester community dedicated to prioritizing quality patient care in her community. She sees patients at the New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital Cancer Center where she is an active member of the Breast Disease Management Team, the Lung Disease Management team, the Commission on Cancer and the Clinical Research Committee which helps bring national cooperative group studies to Lawrence Hospital. She provides a full spectrum of precision radiation therapy techniques to deliver patients the most advanced treatments available. She is a member of numerous organizations and has been recognized annually in the Westchester Magazine Top Doctors since 2016 and selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor by her peers annually since 2014.
