Gerard V. Siciliano, M.D., earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, N.Y., where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. After completing his medical training in New York, he joined Gastroenterology Consultants of Louisville. Dr. Siciliano is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He served on the Patient Care Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology and was president of the medical staff at Norton Suburban Hospital and Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He also is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Siciliano has been involved in many clinical research studies as research coordinator at Gastroenterology Consultants of Louisville. He has extensive experience performing gastroscopy, esophageal dilation, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
