Dr. Garrett Harp received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He then completed his internal medicine internship and residency followed by his pulmonary/critical care fellowship at Naval Medical Center San Diego in California. He served 11 years as a medical officer in the United States Navy. His experiences as a military physician include working as an ICU medical director at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and teaching Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) courses to Navy healthcare workers, Navy SEALs, and MARSOC Marines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served on 4 Navy medical response missions to aid hospitals and medical centers in different regions of the U.S. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Harp is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Harp enjoys running, golfing, and hiking. Dr. Harp welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
