Dr. Eden attended Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude earning a B.S. in Business Administration. He was awarded a one-year scholarship to study managerial economics at the London School of Economics.After subsequently working in the fields of entrepreneurship and performing arts management, Dr. Eden decided to merge his interests in healthcare and organizational development by pursuing a career in medicine. He completed his post-baccalaureate pre-medical studies at Goucher College and pursued bio-medical research, working in the Center for Obsessive-Compulsive andRelated Disorders at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Eden completed his medical training at Weill Cornell Medical College.While in medical school, Dr. Eden was honored with the Oskar Diethelm Prize recognizing the top medical student in Psychiatry. He was the recipient of a certificate of excellence for his psychiatric research related to childhood tic and anxiety disorders. Dr. Eden completed his psychiatry residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was selected as ChiefResident in his final year of residency. As Chief Resident, he led initiatives to streamline clinical operations in the outpatient department during the COVID pandemic. Dr. Eden spearheaded efforts to leverage new EMR technology and teleconferencing software to create a hybrid model of care for the clinic’s diverse population.In residency, he pursued additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, transference-focused psychotherapy, reproductivemental health, and organizational psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Eden undertook research and consulting opportunities related to outpatient clinical innovation and digital mental health/machine learning algorithm (MLA) technology.Dr. Eden harnesses his unique background and systems-oriented perspective in his work as a psychiatrist, administrative leader, clinical educator, and consultant. He has contributed to multiple academic articles within the fields of psychiatry and medicine. He also continues to supervise residents on psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. His understanding of, and prior success in, competitive and results-oriented environments inform a compassionate and thoughtful approach to treating individuals struggling with relationship, career, academic, and creative challenges.
