Company description

Daniel Diamond, OD, is Instructor of Optometric Sciences (in Ophthalmology) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Diamond specializes in complex and medically necessary contact lens fittings, pediatrics, anterior segment disease, and primary care. Dr. Diamond received his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology at SUNY Binghamton. He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry. He obtained his residency training in ocular disease at ENRM VA Hospital in Bedford, MA, in addition to performing fourth-year externships rotating through various medical centers in the Boston region. Prior to joining Columbia, Dr. Diamond worked in a busy ophthalmology practice where he was a key member of the clinical care team and primary pediatric specialist, performing full scope comprehensive eye care, and collaborating with ophthalmologists to treat and manage high-complex ocular diseases.
