Daniel is a Senior Vice President at Robertson Stephens. Based in New York City, he advises individuals, families, and foundations on portfolio construction and other wealth management considerations. Prior to his current role as an advisor, Daniel was a member of the firm’s Investment Office and was instrumental in launching the group during Robertson Stephens’ early days. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked at Rockefeller Capital Management, a multi-family office, wealth manager, and asset manager with roots as John D. Rockefeller’s single-family office. At Rockefeller Capital Management, he was responsible for research and diligence of investment solutions across both traditional and alternative asset classes. During his tenure, he held the distinction of being the youngest member in the firm’s history to serve on its Investment Committee. Daniel is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society New York. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the distinguished Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Japanese language and culture. Daniel is a proud New Yorker and currently resides with his family in Brooklyn. Outside of finance and investments, you can find Daniel running, hiking in National Parks, skiing, and playing video games. He also loves to travel and is a certified scuba diver.
