Chad E. Miller, M.D., earned undergraduate degrees in biology and philosophy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He did his internal medicine residency and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, during which he also did additional subspecialty training in pulmonary hypertension and echocardiography. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Miller was in practice with Georgia Lung Associates. He holds board certifications in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease, and internal medicine. Dr. Miller specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular disease. He personally evaluates his patients' echocardiograms, performs right heart catheterizations, and he emphasizes the importance of his involvement in these and all aspects of patient care. Dr. Miller is the Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension program at Piedmont Physicians Georgia Lung. He serves as principle investigator for research studies of novel therapies for pulmonary hypertension at Piedmont. In his spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys music, travel, and scuba diving. Dr. Miller welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
