Company description
Rising up from humble beginnings, the desire to help others has always been a part of Dr. Bravo’s upbringing. She used this inspiration coupled with support from her family and faith to pursue a career as a physician—a decision she has never questioned. Board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology, Dr. Bravo chose to specialize in rheumatology as it is a challenging and rewarding field of medicine. As she states, “Rheumatologic diseases are not always straightforward, but I thrive helping put the pieces of the puzzle together to enhance the quality of life for my patients.” Additionally, she welcomes working in partnership with primary care physicians, other specialists, and providing individualized, high-quality health care using evidence-based medicine. In her practice, Dr. Bravo finds fulfillment in helping her patients receive a diagnosis, enabling them to regain function that was lost, or empowering them with answers to their questions. She treats her patients as if they were family and provides compassionate and comprehensive care to allow them to live their best life. Dr. Bravo has previous experience as an internal medicine inpatient hospitalist, primary care physician and research scientist— which she uses to the benefit of her patients. Dr. Bravo earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biochemistry and Neuroscience from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she received both her Medical Degree (MD) in Internal Medicine and her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and her Rheumatology Fellowship at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in which she graduated as the Chief Rheumatology Fellow. A military wife and mother of two, Dr. Bravo enjoys travelling, trying new cuisines from various cultures, and participating in community service projects to give back to her local community.
